I haven't tried one yet, but I have talked with few friends that have had great success with them. Joe Mielke is an awesome guy, so it's hard not to recommend his stuff. I have several of his hammers and two of his regular style shot bags, and I have always been very happy with his products.

With soft thin metals you can use soft tools.
I doubt whether this tool could sustain much hot working ... :rolleyes:

Might have to try a wheel barrow inner tube filled with sand, possibly stuffed into a tire which has had one side wall cut away.
