I am in the UVU street rod technologies program. Enjoying it very much. Aluminum shaping project started out to be a mailbox but was afraid it might not last on the street, so just decided to make two wall hangers. Anyway here are the pics |

Attachment 35310Originally the hood was going to open to insert the mail so I had to build a hood filler and weld into place. Some metal finishing and sanding and it's ready for polishing. |

Jere, it is simply a 1/8" bead roll die in the Mittler Bro's bead roller. I overlapped them with the dies which smashed them a little but looked ok. It is the same die I used to run the belt bead. In the first pic I believe you can see my test piece for the louvers.
