Planning a USA trip - need suggestions
Hi All - I haven't contributed much here for quite a while, hoping you guys will humour me in this request:):
I'm booked to do Wray Schelin's coachbuilding (14-17 Sept) and finishing (28-30 Sept) classes and am starting to plan the rest of the trip. I'm hoping to get out to Douglas Pryor as I have started leaning towards some more art/sculptural work - his chasing pieces are fascinating! Other than that my travel dates and itinerary are wide open, and I am looking for opportunities to spend some hands-on time with other 'shapers/shops. My focus right now is on improving my productivity (some things still seem to take WAY too long:lol:) - so exposure to different machines (I have two 'wheels, a Nibbler and home-built planishing hammer), tools etc. I also really want to up my game in terms of finer details and finishing. So anyone who would be open to the idea of someone working alongside them for a few days? And/or other classes? Also, is Oblong still happening? Always wanted to get there and the dates might fit... Thanks in advance! Barry |
Barry Metal Meet is Oct 9-13. Might see you there!
