Here is a picture of a '70 Challenger convert on the simple frame table we built. You can see some of the bracing we welded in to this car since we had it on a rotisserie as well.

I manufacture rotisseries and also have a kit with all the fancy parts (I used trailer hubs, spindles and tapered bearings so the cars roll awfully...

There is no lack of shoddy work. I think most collision shops today just do not have the metal craft skills you see presented by the folks on this forum!

Yes, anyone can go and work on things at techshop - there is a small monthly membership fee that covers the costs, but where else can you go and use upwards of $250,000 worth of equipment?
