So I took some more measurements and it looks like there is an arc from both sides that meet somewhere in the middle. Some one suggested that instead of bending that part that I weld it in place.

Ok I'll check with the people above me about what our vendors capabilities are. It is a wall mounted phone so everything is made a little heavy duty to keep darn kids from doing stupid things with it.
