Looked at the rest of your post on hotrodders.com and your solution for castor adjustment is quite elegant. This keeps the upper arm from binding if you need alot of castor.

I'm sure when you have the hood completed you will have gone through a few different designs. It will look good no matter what. Just remember not to use any bondo on the final hood.:)
