Funny thing about sourcing some stuff is how the prices vary so much.
The Meco N Midget should be about $125.US, with a standard neck and a tip or three.

Pistol torch (Dillon, Henrob, DHC, Cobra, whatever) goes for over $300.usd.
Micro jewelry torches are not much good for doing sheet metal, although some guys can force them to work.

There are a lot of various welding torches on the market these days, made in different countries. The venerable Victor J-100 model is now "Generico" from Asia. And copies of other American torches are being produced on the cheap, also. Caveat emptor.

I'd recommend buying enough basic parts with a given torch so that you don't end up scrimping and then being uncomfortable while enjoying your purchase.

It never made sense to me, going cheap on purchase only to spend again getting something else. Lessons are more valuable when learned early, so the savings can also be enjoyed longer.
