well when you consider that the bottom 3-6 inches of the QTRs needed replaced all I had to do was drill out the welds in the jamb.
The tops of the fins was not as easy. The car owner had a 4 door parts car. That is where the fins tops came from. I will post pics of them when I get them in a little better shape. I grafted the convertible fin tops (section behind the door)to the 4 door fins (rear section)
Also, this 4 door is where the sections of the lower portion of the fins came from
Pieces of the doors were also used from the parts car for other pieces on the fins. They could have been fabbed but they saved some time. We are doing all this with the limited tools we have in the shop. A bench shear,shrinker/stretcher hammer and dollies.
