A question of style for the group. I'm planning on using 37 Ford taillights. I have two options on where I can place them. They have to be at least 20" off the ground to meet Alabama DOT requirements.
Option 1 Tail lights mounted on the outer crest of the rear fenders. This would be more visible from the side. It seems to also accentuate the width of the car. It is a much bigger car than it looks...116" wheelbase and 75" wide...compared to 96 & 71 for a standard C4 Corvette.
Option 2 is the tail lights mounted in the valley between the decklid and the fender.
I'm leaning toward the second option but would like some input.
While I'm waiting, I think I'll work on the tag holder. It will be recessed below the decklid.
