If anyone is interested here are a few more. I used to buy them from a guy on ebay but unfortunately he closed his account. I am going to try this for a laptop battery as well. Just because you have a name brand tool like DeWalt (which I have had great luck with) why should a battery cost $90. verses some other brands being $40. ? They likely buy the batteries from the same suppliers.
Another thing to check out if you are afraid to try the rebuild or dont want to invest the time is Voltman on youtube. I havent done business with them but they rebuild all battery packs. I am too cheap to pay someone I guess and I did mine cheaper. BTW sub c is the size for the DeWalt 18v and I think the older 9v. Carefully take one apart and compare the dimensions of your batteries to the ones the battery companies sell to be sure to get the right size.
