Default Door panel

I made this door panel 2 millimeters too tight because I forgot to add the thickness of the sheet. I need 1200 mm, but I have 1198.
Is there any other solution to fix except hammer and chisel. I know that it is possible to weld the edge, but I'm not happy with that solution.

You can make a new one.

you can straighten the edge, planish the mark out and rebend, but I can make a doorskin faster than fussin with that.

yep weld the edge , lead it or make it again seem to be the only options , have you fitted door to check gaps yet as 2 mm is only 1 mm top and bottom

The bright side is that now you have learned to cut to size after shaping.

If I had this problem, I'd try adjusting it over a stake or dolly, 2mm ain't much to move, it's quite a common issue I have, adjusting edges until I'm happy.

Default Adding to edge

I would hammer and dolly the edge once it's folded over. You should be able to stretch the edge 1mm. on each side.
