Default Motor-trike-carrier rear fender

This is my first shaping project using the Trumpf. I first domed the center section using the original doming dies. Then I started shrinking the edges with the thumbnail dies I made a while back.

It was a bit hard to get the radius right while getting to the right width, especially since I was working while it was in a smaller radius (sides pointing outward) so I had enough clearance to reach the dies.

I did some finishing using the basic e-wheel I have. I got a consistant shape over the whole length of the fender using some contour dies in the Trumpf. I did a bit of planishing on the sides using a hammer and handheld dolly. Hard to do since you need two hands to hold the fender steady which will leave you with no hands left to hold the hammer and dolly. I would like to do some more finishing on the sides but I don't know how. I think I really need a planish hammer.

Next up is my first attempt on a wire bead along it's edges.

Nice work Joris, I especially like the consistent crossection and radius, which is not that easy to maintain over such a long distance.
