Are you planning to make a Lexan piece from the shaped aluminum or just use the metal cover as is? I ask because I'm in the middle of making Lexan covers for my GTO headlights.

in fact no, the plastic is original and it is very weak and I have to use it to build its frame and the right side that does not exist, so I made a copy to use it for this purpose.

The contour I make from 1.5mm in shrinker and stretcher and the others profile I bend manual from car contour, and then I did one on the inside as shown in the pictures

Great job Onorius, there is a lot of work there. Would be good to learn a bit more on how you welded the panels and what challenges that presented
