Default Learning as I go

Hello forum members,

My name is Michael, the English version of my name, and I am from a small town near Arnhem in the Netherlands.
Started working on cars over 30 years ago, mostly mechanical stuff.
Got more interested in classic cars, older BMW’s from the 60’s and continued to Jaguars from the same aera, E types and mk2’s.
Most of the metal work was done by others at that time.
A few years ago I was looking for a classic 4x4 and decided I wanted a FJ40.
Found a project and a roller and decided to take the both home.
Worked on the project in my 1 car garage, rebuild the non existing rear of the body, until my wife started to give me more trouble from sounds and dirt comming from the garage.
A year ago I managed to find a small shop at walking distance from home.
Got the roller from storage and put it in the shop with the idea to straighten it out a little before storing it in the garage.
Once I started I got mote and more into the metal working and decided to take the roller apart and replace all the bad parts with new steel.
I am not experienced in the metal shaping game but try to learn as I go.
Stumbled on Jacks 68 Caddy tread and got hooked after that.

My goal is to learn from all of you and hope to give something back in the future while using what I have learned.

With kind regards,

Michael
