I found it interesting that he said to always weld on a flat area. Does he ever wheel a piece "out of arrangement"? I didn't see him do that at all in the videos.

I didn't see him do that, but he only rolled a half dozen panels or so while I was there.

if you watch the video carefully he doesn't actually say to always weld on a flat spot-what he actually said is never weld in a reverse curve-due to the difficulties of cleaning it up afterwards.he points to the crown of the curve above the reverse and says it would be fine to weld there- but on that particular panel its obvious to go beyond the reverse to put a weld in unless one is making the panel up out of smaller pieces.
