After a Summer of Beach Weekends, was itching to get back on it. Spent the weekend developing the rockers, cowl and door openings

Looking good Ira. I was wondering where you've been. Hopefully you had a good summer. I'm looking forward to more progress on this and seeing you up at Wrays.

Thanks guys! Chris, looking forward to seeing you up there too!

Crossed a big milestone this weekend. With a weekend of help from super talented Sam Stein who (did work study in Wray's shop last semester for credit) gave up a senior college weekend to help me out, got the superlegerra structure for the body proper finished for now. Stoked! Have some fill in around the windows and trunk opening, but want to make some progress and see how the skin flows first. Back to shaping next weekend. Put a few of the panels back on for a rough sense and to get the mind thinking during the week on what's next!

Going to be a great outcome Ira. All the attention to detail so far will pay off.

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Thanks Steve and Marcus, much appreciated.

Spent weekend refining driver's side of roof and then made passenger side

Wray has the equipment on its way for gas welding. Will give it a try when it arrives.

Looks great Ira... I have a Meco Midget you could have borrowed... I struggle with gas welding, but can make it work.
