Default Body Line Bends

This is a general question. I often look at cars, including my 50's Cadillacs, and study the lines and wonder how would I make certain areas. There are often transitions that are tighter than any radius wheel on my English wheel. The sharper lines on the top "hips" of the door, the tall crease down the fender, the swoop of the hood before the seam where it meets the fender.

How would you go about these areas without a modern power hammer?

I think Peter Tommasini's DVD collection would teach you everything you need to know about blocking in body details.

I second that,Peter's DVD'S are excellent, lots to be learned from them.
He shows how to do the very thing being asked about.
And so much more and he makes it it easy to understand.

I do plan to invest in his DVD's sometime when funds allow. I did just get a blocking hammer from him.

If your funds are tight DVD's 7,8 and 9 are the ones to get. Available in one set.
