Yes, I've read all your posts on the subject. On my to-do list is to experiment on some scrap panels...I have plenty of them. I also have lead and flux,

I'm building a plane. Well, finishing a project that somebody else started. I just had to hang an engine and put instruments in, and finish up a few things. 6 months at most. That was in 2014. And I am putting hours in like crazy!

So my answer to that question? Tuesday.

I'm amazed and watching the video of you doing it shows I'm never too old to learn. Thanks Peter.

Well, it's been 9 months since I did anything more than walk past the roadster. I'm determined to finish this project before I age out and that time gets closer every year.

So today was the day I did something. Last March I redid the back on the drivers door and worked on the gaps. I also removed the cowl and did some bumping where the windshield posts go through the metal.

Today, I finished up the cowl and remounted it. I still have some tweaking to do but I'm narrowing in on the gaps. I'm happy with the drivers door gaps but I certainly wish I had done the attachment methods different but I'm not going to start over ...again.

I hung the passenger door now that I have cut it to the new profile. Next I need to shape the new body metal at the door top and tighten up the gap.

The advantage/disadvantage to taking 9 months off is that I saw a lot of things that aren't right that I had not noticed before. sigh..... Two steps forward, three steps back. I'm so mad at myself for not taking the time to make a symmetrical hard buck. Don't be like me!

Glad to see you back at it, sir.

Don't feel too bad, I've had a racecar chassis on the frame jig since 2011 (though to be fair to myself, it's mostly sat due to lack of money to spend on it vs lack of motivation, but sat it has).

Thought sure I'd have it done by the 2012 season.

Any day now...

Don't feel bad- The longer it lingers, the easier it is for me to reevaluate my handiwork. As long as it's improving, that's all that matter.

It's good to see that it's moving forward and improving. Very cool.
