Default Need to re-locate my shop.

If this is the wrong place for it, please move it.

I have just been told that the new owner will want the garage on March 1.

I have a small hobby shop, jamb packed, 900 sq.ft., that I have to move out of soon.
It is located in the north east corner of King Twp, ON, Canada
Don't need hydro, heat or water. Looking for similar size or 1000 sq.ft.
in area of Newmarket, Bradford , Holland Landing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You probably already know this but Craigslist would be the place to start.

Thanks Chris. None of the headings produced a glimmer of hope.

John, try posting a shop space wanted ad on Craigslist in your area (York Region??). It's free and you may find someone who will have a place available or who wants to sublet some shop space. Sucks losing your shop, hope you find something.

John,

When I had to move my shop of a similar size but the new one wasn't ready I rented 2 shipping containers for dry storage until the new shop was finished. since the clock is ticking you might look at them for a temp solution until you find the shop that you really want vs jumping at the first that pops up.

Just an opinion best of luck!

Default moving shop

I had the same problem a few years back. I put everything into one of those storage units for a couple of months until I was able to find a space. Yes, it's a pain to move everything twice but it was better than the risk of losing anything by moving at the last minute.

Good luck!
