Next I need to wheel the curve into the new rocker panel. I put the bends in first because they help keep the shape while wheeling the panel but it presents a problem as well. When I need to wheel up to a bend I shim the flattest anvil I have (#6) which moves the contact point with the upper wheel over to the side. I use allen wrenches because they are easy and available in measured increments. Name: 24.jpg

I also use a polyurethane upper wheel to roll a bend in a single plane. I've used the rubber band also but I like the PU wheel. I used the #6 anvil, then the #5 but I still need a little more shape. I'll finish it up tomorrow with a #4.Name: 27.jpg
