Question Pexto taper

I'm outfitting a stump and thought I might hang a socket on it to match the hardie hole in my anvil, for all my hardie tools. Then I thought I should also maybe have a tapered socket for all those cool stake tools that I may someday acquire. Google turned up one old auction that listed a stake plate and seemed to indicate that the taper dimensions were 1-5/8" at the top, 1-1/8" at the bottom, 2" deep. Can anyone confirm that's right, or tell me what it should be?

Shorter form of the question: can anyone tell me the dimensions of the taper on stake tools?

Thanks,

Steve

The trouble with the taper of the stake is that each company used a different taper but I will measure up what we are using for a taper in our stake holders and they will all fit in but somewill be a little loose.Dutch

Dad means he will have me measure them...

Anyway, even if it isnt a perfect match, or at worst, very sloppy, a taper will natrually want to lock somehow, just rock the stake to one side ant it will stay there. Like Dad said, we have many stakes and such, and i swear they each seem to have thier own taper.
