Default Hi from Brisbane, Australia

Hi
I've just joined All Metal Shaping.
I'm a registered training business owner where we train in engineering and automotive training, mostly to high school students. Our training methods are different from most as we utilise project based learning. Our classes build a full size race car in a team environment and then the students attend our own race day to compete in the car they build.
You can see what our program is here

This is our race day from last year. It was a sprint event however this year will be a 6 hour endurance. The car is based on Dennis Palatov's DP1 and Dennis has been a great supporter of the program. I shipped the original plug over to Australia and made a modified bosy mould from that plug.

While my area of training is more around engineering and in particular CAD/CAM/CNC, my first trade was as a panel beater(body shop) and we have been asked to set up and do more metal forming training. We'll employ traininers from industry to help with this.
I thought All metal Shaping would be a great place to see what others are doing and what's current, get some ideas on the latest equipment and generally get involved in something I enjoy.

So hi!!

Greig

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Peter, it would be great to have our program running in each state.
Having said that I'm keen to do one of your courses. Maybe we could discuss what would be involved in setting up to run a couple of your courses here in Brissy and Sunshine Coast if you do that.
