Rick:

I was on the site last night and wanted to post then on the nice work you are doing, but I figured I'd wait until you were finished. Great work. It looks like you think far ahead of your build.

What are you doing with the V12 and other running gear?

Hi Rick

Thanks for posting your project.

You are making good progress on a huge challenge. Well thought out and I'm sure it will turn out great.

Thanks for the encouragement. By the time I'm done with this I'll have a PHD in metalwork.

This project turned out to be more time intensive that I thought it would be. In hindsight I should have started with a two door. But at least none of the automobile purists can fault me for ruining a perfectly good Lincoln and I'm ridding the world of a four door at the same time.

I'll probably sell off all the running gear. Its such a cool looking motor. I'd love to put it in a Bonneville style model A coupe. Unfortunately it only had 110hp from the factory. A local guy put one in his '32 ford. He spent well over 10 grand to get 150hp out of it. It doesn't make sense to keep it a car where you cant see it.

For the same 10K, I could do an entire reliable modern system. Hot Rod Magazine did an article a while back where they took a junkyard motor added turbos and made 1200 hp with it.

Great work Rick,
You have great vision, and forward thinking, and make it work with a small budget, and great talent. I am working on a 38 3 window lincoln zephyr at the moment for a customer it was cheap? as zephyr's go but had no roof. I used part of a 38-40 ford sedan roof and made the rest.

Cheers Steve.
