Great work. I am another who would love to see the nuts and bolts as well as the panel work. I've seen things in pictures so far that I know will help me with future projects.

Thanks.

Thanks guys

Here are the cutting jigs I use on the router(trimmer)
They are 5mm thick alloy.
If you make them large enough you can get a few shapes on one sheet.
Its all out of scrap.

Also the ply jig is for folding the rad and forming the rad on the fuel tank hole.
The ply jig is left and right handed.

GREAT stuff Jim! BTW, because is this an end-to-end build, you are welcome to document the entire build, mechanicals, electricals, and all. I hope you do. As you can tell from the comments, about everyone on the site wants to scratch build a car one day.

Default second complete car build

Hi Jim

You are a man with many talents, and great vision for the process required to achieve the desired end result.
Thanks for sharing the the steps of the process, not just the finished parts. Your thread will be a wonderful tool to show beginners how to use the basic skills and link them together in a logical manner, to complete a large project.
Very impressive work!
Steve

Thanks Steve , Axel an John.

As There is interest in the whole build I will put up more of the detail that I would skip over normally.

I took a pic of the cutting the corners for folding with the trimmer/router.
It comes out clean and about 1/3 the time that it would to do it by hand.
I rough it out on the band saw then trim
