lol not really, i'm secretly making 2 at the same time

front nose panel is coming on a treat, welded the r/h side pieces together now and getting ready to align both sides and weld together after making the rain channel. i've also made an engine lid skin, i got hold of a second hand on but gave it back after finding it full of filler, so i made a pattern of the skin, shaped one up last year and have made some dies for my machine. i started saturday making the frame to match the curvature of the skin, and started welding the pieces together

By Jingo you are good at this!

I want to make one of those machines as well Any chance of some more photos of the machine while it is working?

Cheers Charlie

richard, charlie, all i can say is just build one, it's such a useful tool to have.

pugsy, thanks you

i have finished the frame but don't have a pic of it on my phone, so i've carried on with the skin, sharpened the folded edge and marked out where the grille vent goes, marked it out and cut the hole. turned the edges and shrunk them a little to put the small crown back in.
