Those are great...deceptively simple looking until I try to wrap my head around just how you turned the edges back for reinforcements ....Those curves would have had me tearing my hair out.
How was that done? Did you already mention what the material specs were? Heck, the car they are in is neat too...I like!!

Hi Thank you all for the kind words.

IMG_2614.jpg What quality aluminum plates are, I do not know today. I must ask the provider. i will try to do that to the week. Quote:
It is somewhat difficult to explain, but I'll try. First I made a slight angle on the edge to be bent over. The angle was made over the edge of the workbench with a plastichammer. Then I attached the edge of the chair with rivets. By using dolly and a plastic hammer i shaped the edge gently over to the inside. Hope this was understandable. Sorry for my bad English

The quality of the aluminum plates I have used are EN-AW5052 / 5754 / NS485-2. I'm a little unsure what this means, because I thought that 5052 is one quality and 5754 another.
I ordered today more aluminum plates because I'll use some of this design on the inside door panels also.

dash
Hello.
It's been a while since the car was finished, and in addition to the seats I also made dash in the same style. It is done to take some of the elements in the seats into other parts of the car. I have also added one picture of the car done B2EE7DBA-B273-42DE-A225-91C5378F7234.jpg IMG_0623.jpg
