HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who had a part in making this years Event such a success. Special thanks to Mike Yurko and Steve Hamilton who turned my Shop into a much cleaner and organized atmosphere. Also to everyone who stepped forward and offered up some wonderful demonstrations .
The Ferrari Buck that John Trutnau had there for the Kingdom Metalworks Classes was a nice backdrop for the event to use as a medium to build panels from. Those that didn't take advantage of it were the ones losing out . Once again those that came from great distances were greatly appreciated for your enthusiasm and input. Great to have Ben VanBerlo and his fantastic Mechammer there and all the Demonstrations. Unfortunately I as host never get an opportunity to get the pictures that captures the essence of what goes on , so those that have more pics or videos please share . Bill Tromblay big thanks for your in depth demo on the advantage of Delrin Planishing dies

Speaking from an experienced perspective, I want to thank both Dan and LuAnn (some of the cheesy potatoes, not all, DID make it to South Carolina - NONE of the ice cream did)). You guys know I appreciate you doing that. It must be my mal-nourished appearance that leads you to do it! LOL.
The shop was very well organized, clean and full of a LOT of tooling. It seemed to be a very productive event, with a lot of guys making lots of parts, but the highlight was of John Tratnau's Ferrari body buck. Many guys gained a lot of experience making actual panels. It was good opportunity for me to take it a little bit easy as I ended up driving over 5800 miles over a two week span, having visited Green Bay the week before, and both trips involved 4-trailer flat tires and 2-on the motor home. Ben Von Berlo's new design Machammer was on site and in full display of all the it can do, having a wide range of interchangeable air hammer 'pistons' making it useable on metal ranging from a soft drink can to 2mm (.080" +/-). This particular machine was the first production unit as made by Trick Tools, who have picked up Bens design for manufacturing and sales in the US. Congrats, Ben. Nice work! See separate post. Bill Trombley presented a VERY interesting display of Oxy-Hydrogen. The last pic shows 'Leo' making a custom stamping of a pick up tail gate. Very clever.
