Still space available at Santa Cruz meet?
I just was able to confirm I can now make this event. Is there still space available? If so, please save me a spot. With the speed of snail mail these days, I'm guessing a sent check might make it by Saturday, but the sure way is to bring it with me. So please confirm that there's still spots available.

Santa Cruz Meet
Yes there are still spots open. You can pay when you register. No one will be turned away. Bring a jacket we might get a little rain.
Thanks, John Forbes

Thanks for the Opportunity
Thanks, John for putting this on. I hope to bring more techniques and knowledge back to my students to inspire them further.

Don Houseman shows how he fabbed his windshield frames. IMG_1031.jpg Look at those beauties! 14 Ga. stainless. IMG_1033.jpg An original and a tacked up post. IMG_1045.jpg Ron Covell did a basic hammer and dolly class. IMG_1049.jpg Gene was full of tips and stories. IMG_1051.jpg Lazze does his magic on the wheel and the bead roller. IMG_1054.jpg Kent Caverly showed O/A aluminum welding. IMG_1067.jpg Ron shows different methods of bending tubing. IMG_1076.jpg Kevin West demonstrates how to set rivets with a gun or squeezer. IMG_1078.jpg A big thanks to John for hosting the metal meet once again. Also to the instructors who donated their time (and prizes for the raffle), and those who helped cook, clean, set up and take it down. I'm sure many who attended, like myself, returned to our shops at home and said " I gotta try that!".
