Hi Peter the tank is a work of art. What thickness of alloy did you use also was it 5005?How did you make the step at the back for the riders knees seeing as you said the sides were one piece? Thanks in advance.

HI Mossi the alloy is 5000 series. H 34 is the hardnes wich is (half hard) 1.6 thick
the sides where block in, then wheel up and finish off with a polished flipper (slapper)
Peter
PS if you want to use the same material ask for 5005/H34

Peter, Do you know how 5005 H34 compares to 3003 H14? I know 3003 is not widely available in OZ. My experience with 5052 is that it is pretty hateful stuff. Needs to be annealed for anything significant and work hardens quickly. I've never had an 5005 to try.
