Default Tinmans Groover

Hi chaps,

Can anyone tell me how to use a Tinmans Goover ? I just happen to have one, I picked it up at a garage sale as it looked interesting, just no idea how to work with it

The tool you show in the picture is for closing off a lockseam, lockseams are in air conditioning duct work, down pipes roof gutters and plumbing and also vintage automotive fuel tanks.

Could also be a final caulking tool for bigger wooden boats. My caulking tool has a 3mm groove as a finisher, but I'd use this for wire edging, as suggested.

I think it is Jamie, but the ones I have seen have flat bottoms. Another name for lockseamer is tinmans groover. The only thing you need for wire edging is a dolly a hammer (or flipper) and closing plyers.
