very good work, i like the weave, very original look, never seen it before. gas cap is sick too. cant wait to see the end result, keep up the good work.

could you have used a tipping die on top with a solid nylon roller on the bottom to get the same "basket" effect?

I believe the basket effect requires the step die, when you use a tipping die and a nylon wheel you get a completely different look, more like a diamond pleat.
