Default Starter Project- Locker Handles

It may be redundant to post something so rudimentary after seeing such amazing projects, but like the saying goes, "you gotta start somewhere!" Here are a few pics of the locker that my father recently gave to me. It was missing some handles and looked like a fun project to begin.

very neat. I think learning to work on the small things is so important. Its not all about the glorious quarter panel or door skin. those parts are held on by parts just as important but rarely respected. I love to see nicely done detail work.

Thanks for the kind words HeatNBeat and ThingsthatFly2. These took about 3 hrs to make, though I really desire to have high quality details. I believe that I have created an attitude of, "If being slow is my only fault to making quality parts, then let me fail only to learn a quicker way."

Good results with simple tooling, well thought out and executed.

Thanks for the comments David Gardiner and Peter Tommasini.
David; I just watched your video via the link under your signature and hope to get some videos later this year as funds develop--tools are priority!
Peter; I look forward to your videos as they become available. I wish that I could visit to both of your areas; maybe one day.

So if the nut had a sharper edge, then I would have had a more crisp edge around the dimple...correct? Say if I had a tube, which had a perpendicular face and sharp corners.
