The red car in the background is a poly cobra body used as a buck to practice/learn ali metalshaping with my son Bram. Eventually we want to build a Aston Martin DBR1 body on the selfsupporting chassis of the old TVR in the background. The blue car is a replica cobra. A RAM LR roadster with a chassis designed by Adrian Reanard that we imported from the UK in a very poor state to kep the price down. We rebuild (and still are) the car into the LeMans style racing car like the one Ken Miles drove.

Kind regards,

Frank and Bram

Yesterday Bram came home with his shield like this. A Neanderthal kid hit it very hard.

So I gave it a washover with the closest lower anvil. Works very well. Couldn't even feel the dent anymore.

I hope the fellow that hit the breast plate doesn't sue for your son hitting his hand with his chest.

Bram confirmed that the kid did it by hand and kept a straight face . We used an 0.8mm sheet. So with a crown like this locked a bit by the folded beat, it ought to hurt a bit. He warned the kid but he still went for it. I was a bit surprised because I expected a wooden sword or something but you could distinguish three knuckles in the dent.

Boys will be boys.
