Really sorry to hear about your Dad, Marcus. Hope you manage to switch off and enjoy Mount Kilimanjaro and Ethiopia.

Please accept my condolences on you father's passing, Marcus. Estate matters followed by ever-increasing mother & uncle eldercare issues since my father passed 5 yrs ago all continue to take priority here, so I understand. Hard to remember life without these things sometimes.

Enjoy your life while you can. Things can wait. Have a safe trip and a great time. Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro sounds very cool... no pun intended.

I feel very sad and sorry for your loss.
This reminds me that my Dad is now almost 93 years old and me and my little son should spent as much time as possible with him before he goes forever...
All the best to you and your family Marcus!

Many thanks for all your thoughts guys.
He wanted to be at home still looking after himself as much as possible. So we made sure he was able to do that. Even at 92 he was given a hip operation as he said it was slowing him down too much. In only 2 weeks after he was already powering up the hill dragging he big dog behind him only using a walking stick. He had even already been driving to the supermarket himself that week. Well his heart gave out at the top of the hill so it looks like he pushed himself too hard too quickly in the end. But he was doing what he loved, walking his dog in the morning sunshine.

Sorry about your loss Marcus. It's never easy no matter how old a parent is.

Hi Marcus
Nice video explanation of the reasoning for your mods to the fenders.
I really missed your detailed updates. Looking forward to more posts on your project.
Thanks for sharing with AMS members!
