Hello everyone! My name is Scott and I live in Findlay, OH. I am retired and would like to learn about metal shaping methods and sources to assist me in a project to convert my 1929 Ford Model A Roadster into an aluminum bodied speedster. I have a workshop on our farm and am familiar with metal fabrication in general and years ago was a welder by profession and enjoy tig welding. When able I will attach images of what I am starting with for this project and what I hope to end up with when completed. Thanks!

speedster project
Thanks Mike! The main challenges for me will be fabrication or sourcing of the aluminum sheet metal and the brass fuel tank items. The rest should be fairly straight forward. It would be great to have original plans or drawings. There is currently for sale in Europe a '29 car that is supposed to have been built at the Ford factory and shipped to Europe. I have attached an image.
Take care, ScottFord Speedster 4.jpg
