Default MT 4 Vibro Shear

A couple of Vibro Shear units for sale in Sydney, I have no association with the auction , but some one may be looking for a machine

These are cheap at the moment,
I have an MT 5 and it's great for floor pans.

These are 3 phase, but I changed mine to a 3/4 hp single phase and it's fine.

The only drawback is the tool shanks are 14 mm so make sure you get the blue box in the photo, it will have the louver tool and tool steel cutters.

They were cheap for a while.
I was going to buy one as it isn't that far from me but once I got some tranport quotes, I decided to leave it alone.
They are also HUGE. 1.8m x .7m x 1.5m

They went for around $1600 + 23% tax and commision = ~$2000.
+ then the transponrt of around $500=$660.

How do you other folks transport stuff like this cheaply?

I often wonder how all this old stuff and machinery can fetch so much money when all manufacturing is shutting down here in Oz.
Unless all these machines get exported to other manufacturing countries in the world somehwere?

I was lucky with mine it was only 40 klms away in Echuca, it only cost me $40 fuel and 5 ltrs oil on the back of a mates truck (mates Rates)

We then loaded it on the back of my Tonner, well that bottomed out the suspension so I cut blocks of wood and made it solid for last 3 klms trip to my shed.

I lifted off with my car hoist and rolled into to position with pieces of 1" pipe

Cheers Phil
