Default Pictures in the album

Hi
I think the new ones are pretty stingy with the images of their projects. Shows just something you have and how you work.

Greetings Dirk

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Ich finde die neuen sind ganz schön geizig mit den Bildern, von ihren Projekten.
Zeigt doch mal was ihr habt, und wie ihr arbeitet.

Grüße Dirk

Dirk, the albums and the pictures are there to support threads and individual posts. It is a way to help keep pictures from being lost. The metal shaping content is posted on the main board and not in the albums. Many times our members will post pictures in their albums as they progress with a project. When the project is complete they will post a tutorial later and attach the pictures when they post to the main board. Thanks for your concern but I don't see a real problem with how the albums are being used.

I think what Dirk is saying is that he would like for new members to post more photos.

I agree, photos speak EVERY language!

This may not be possible, but sometimes I look through the albums and find some interesting pictures. Is there a way to find the thread they are linked to? Same with the shape of the month. I couldn't seem to find a way to the thread where the shape was introduced.

Dan, If you click on the "Shape of the Month" picture it will bring up the thread.
Not all pictures in the albums have been used in a thread and some have been used in several threads. There is no way that I know of to do what you ask.

I tried clicking the members name to see their profile. And then look for their posts, or even better, for threads they started. Sometimes works.
