Default Loading pics

This is just a suggestion, and I know I am really stupid when it comes to any computer stuff, but loading pics on here kicks my butt! The only time I got pics up here they were all to big. I had a project to enter in the contest, but I got frustrated and gave up. To add to my frustration, my laptop quit working and all I ever use anyway is my iPad. Is there any way to make it easier to load pics for knuckleheads like me? The Hamb has made it real easy with their iPad app and I can even use it! Maybe I just need to go back to school!!!

Tim, we're not all that sharp on the add ins. Posting photos is not really hard, you just need to read and follow one of the approaches that are described in the getting started forum

http://allmetalshaping.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6

Choose either linking from the albums or elsewhere on the internet, or attaching to the post (my preferred approach) There are three sticky threads that describe the process in pretty significant detail. Give it another try...it's not rocket science.

The main 'issue' most folks have is that they don't resize their photos using nearly any photo editing software. 800x600 is a good size. Most of today's digital cameras take photos that are huge...2+ megabytes (2,000,000 characters worth of data) We just can afford to store images that large. computer monitors really cant display the additional resolution, and it takes forever to open posts with huge photos and is impossible for anyone not on a high speed connection.
