Those two preview pages in his website sure looked biased towards heavy machinery to do metalshaping.

I have a couple of his and they are very well done, full of information and lots of pictures to reinforce the words. I might have this book, is he making a large fender for an early '30's Duesenberg (?) and did it in 5 pieces, welded it and finished without grinding any parent metal to meet show standards?
I got a lot out of it and apply his techniques even without using a yoder. The hammer is just the method of pounding, it is about how he prepares to pound is what I got out of it.
