Default New Member from MI and FL, USA

My name is Eric and I joined as I have been reading posts on this site for over a year now. I have no experience with metal shaping, but have been reading and watching DVD's by many members here including: Peter Tommasini, Peter Gardiner, and Kent(tinman).
I have a few small projects that I hope to get started on soon, including some small rust holes and trim holes that need to be welded up on my car. I have many future projects, (mostly old trucks) but unfortunately I will need to spend most of my time moving from FL back to MI and that will take some time. Once back, getting a shop setup will take more time, but I'll get there.
I used to do photography and would like to start up with that again, and I also have a desire to learn Blacksmithing.
Thanks for this forum... I'm not a full member yet, but it is amazing and I am looking forward to getting started.

Thanks everyone,
I have not done much but continue to watch DVDs, but if plans work as I hope, I will be taking a Dagger tools class while I am in MI this fall. The principles sink in a little more every time I watch them. I have watched them so many times now that I feel like I can start making panels immediately, I know this is not the case, lol. In between, I have plans to get a small shop set up so I can start practicing.

Eric
