I had a great time at this years event!! I can not even begin to thank Dan and Luann enough for hosting this event. These things just don't happen it takes a lot of planning and hard work, I can't say thank you enough but one more time thank you Dan and Luann and everyone that make events like this possible.

Default Thanks Don Baldwin

I have to share a story about what Don Baldwin did . On Tues. of the event I got a packet from Don that had several pictures of projects that he had used tricks or techniques brought home from previous events . One in particular was a neat vice grip tool inspired by a demo I did showing Cass idea of spot welding with a Tig . He was not able to attend this year but sent along an envelope with a hundred dollar bill inside with a thank you note . The man understands value , where would he have learned this along with all the many other things he observed at one function.

Will,

How well did this work on the eckold? Were y'all using this for general stretching or something specific?

Thanks
Bob

Per was demonstrating the making of a part that needed a lot of stretching in the middle so we were showing the difference of hitting in a shot bag or using a machine . This just shows how it could be done on a machine as apposed to beating into a shot bag . Same results without going to the Ibuprofin dispenser .

Bob, that works great on the Eckold. I made that for Dan when we were making tooling for his new quick change adapters and we got the mounts from Joe Andrews.

Basically, I just welded a 2" length of the square hole sleeve from Reid Tool to the adapter. Any 3/4" shank pullmax doming die will work. I rarely swing a hammer any more other than just tuning a panel.

It was very aggressive, and I thought it was a great idea. A little planishing, a little wheeling and they had a nice panel.

It is only as aggressive as you want it to be. You can barely bump or bury the die. I originally made them for my Pullmax and they work great there also. The red urethane is a screw on hammer head.

Dan, if you got your care package, that means mine should arrive tomorrow. I have been waiting with the greatest of anticipation. By the way, because of Cody I am now a member of the 50 a week club.
