Default In from East Tennessee

Hello, I'm a hobbyists from East Tennessee. As a carreer firefighter , I have plenty of time to get into trouble building things out of metal.
My toy of choice is a 76 Cj 5 with many hours of hand made sheet metal. My son and I spend many quality hours working on it. The jeep is set up to crawl but I still keep its stock look. My wife as a 95 Wrangler in which she and my daughter enjoy.
I enjoy old tools which include a 12 inch Atlas lathe, a Kalamazoo band saw and an ancient anvil. I hand built an English wheel and am formulating plans to build a small power hammer.
Before I could afford a plasma cutter, I learned how to use a torch, before I had a tig, I learned to torch weld. If gas was cheaper, I still would use my torch. My currient welder of choice is an old Hobart 250 beta MIG. When needed I can dig out my old Miller Bluestar. I like to consider my tools well used.
