Me as well. For some years now it sounds like the tea is ready. A constant shrill whistle. I understand some people have a lot of difficulty dealing with it. It's annoying but eventually just becomes part of the background noise. That said, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Hearing protection wasn't emphasized as much when I started working. Either that or I wasn't listening.

I have the same problem with ear ringing and it can drive you nuts when it is quiet. I bought a set of Isotunes and so far I like them alot. They really knock down the noise and you can listen to music.
