Default Hi All, nice to speak to you guys (and gals)

Hi,

I am a software engineer during the day and at night I am in the process of restoring an old Porsche 944.

I got the car 5 years ago and knew it had a lot of work but didn't realize how much rust it had. Out of the 5 years I have spent 36 months working on it as I (on occasions) get really lazy or just have other stuff to do.

I have never had any proper teaching on welding but I am getting better with practice. I am using a MIG with CO2 gas. So far I have just being doing small patches but I am now on the wings which are requiring bigger patches.

I came across this forum when searching on help for metal shaping so this is why I am here.

I am also interested in this stuff so would like to learn more.

Thanks
