Default Sad news about Dennis Borgwarth

Sad Day. One of our Minnesota members called me this morning to say that our member and friend Dennis Borgwarth had passed away. His handle here was DennisWolf2001. His album is: http://allmetalshaping.com/album.php?albumid=556

Dennis was best known as the inventor of the "Anoka Power Hammer" which he later sold to DAKE. He also had a side business called Hot Metal Customs.

We used to visit with Dennis at various events when we were still running up and down the interstates selling our stuff. He was a bright, bright man who will be missed.

I am not sure that I had met the gentleman, but any man with his talents will surely be missed by those of us in this metal shaping community . I extend my condolences to his family, friends and all those that had the privilege of meeting him.

I work with a guy that had lunch with Dennis daily for 20 years. Always sad to hear of someone's passing. We all never know how many days we have left and should remind ourself to enjoy it while we are here.

I met Dennis at one of the Robinson MM where he showed his Power Hammer.

It was very impressive. Sorry for his loss.

Default Wow

Much too young.

Met him at Oblong and bought the plans and thumbnail shrinking dies from him. Had some other discussions through the years. He was an interesting character.

I never met Dennis, but watched many of his videos, so I feel like I did.
I am so sorry to hear the news. My sympathies to his family and friends.
