Default Hello from Upstate NY

Dave here from Upstate NY...having a passion for hand built custom motorcycle parts I'm looking forward to the expertise of the members here to learn the various tools and techniques associated with metal shaping such parts as fuel and oil tanks fenders as well as other custom sheet metal body parts. So far this looks like a promising site with loads of info...I look forward to the experience.

Hello Dave, welcome to the site. Some good motorcycle tanks have been made by the guys on here and there are lots of threads showing them if you do a search. Johnny Arial did a good thread and MarioD has a new thread on his copper chopper tank which is superb. I show one of my efforts on my youtube footage.
