Default Welcome Dutch Comstock

I noticed Dutch posted a couple times today and wanted to send out a welcome. For those who haven't been around long, Dutch was one of the founders of the internet metalshaping communities and has been my mentor since I first started back in 2002.

Dutch was my first real ewheel customer and was responsible for me going into business. In addition, he made it possible for us to find spaces at the Carsisle Swap Meet and worked the booth with us for years. I certainly would not be the metalshaper I am today without having known Dutch.

Dutch taught me a ton within a few minutes of meeting him in Robinson, IL at MM04! Dutch taught me how to steer an ewheel and get a good tracking pattern - while barely saying a word! I've learned more from him since then, but, the first impression left a lasting mark!

Welcome aboard, Dutch!

Tim D.

Awesome, nice to have ya here Dutch! Can't say enough about this guy. He's helped me fiddle with numerous projects at meets many times. He's a real pleasure to be around. The quality of work that he produces is outstanding and the fact that he can teach a person how to do it is even more outstanding.

Default Dutch

Anyone who can call Dutch his friend is a lucky man!!! If anyone should write a book on metalshaping its Dutch. Metalshaping and racing have been his whole life.
A good father, husband and friend, that says it all.

Welcome aboard Dutch!

I was pretty green when I showed up at MM a few years back, and it always struck me as very flattering when Dutch even noticed, much less commented on my work when I first started posting my projects on the forum. Oh yes, to me, a favorable comment from Dutch Comstock in a forum thread was a big deal, and I knew I was doing OK if Dutch liked what I was doing.

Looking forward to hearing more of that.

Ken
