Shawn, it would need to be something that you're comfortable with. If you think back about what you see folks using that are relatively simple to make you might see:

Hammers, Dollys, Post Dollys, slappers, tucking forks, welding aids, beater bags,

If it helps, my exchange will consist of a wooden blodger, a vixen file with homemade handle, and a 101 DVD. That probably adds up to a good bit more than $50 but I'm OK with it.

Default Shipping...

if your tool fits into a flat rate 9x12" envelope and weighs less than 4# it flies international priority mail for $13.

If you can slide it in without tearing the envelope it goes. (just clear tape the living snot out of the envelope so it can't tear.)
