Default English panel maker Andy Kissack

Hi guys,
I came across this build of an alloy body build on the YouTube, shows lots wheeling, shaping and welding. You'll have to try hard and put the sequence together as its a little disjointed, but it's worth the effort.
Andy Kissack is an instructor at Leeds College in the Uk.

He also shows quite a few videos of factory visits including Brooklands panel shop ( AC Cobra bodies), Aston Martin and Morgan.

In my humble opinion - excellent.
Worth stringing the clips together, down to earth coherent lessons for the beginner.
Thank you so much and thank heavens there are like minded people who really have gone the extra mile to help us wannabes.
The regular old hands, excuse the expression, you know who you are.

Thanks for sharing Martin. Andy seems to be a great craftsman and has ability to teach quite well also.
Andy if you come across this post, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. So many people show the end result and not the progress.
Thanks again.

Thanks for letting us know about that. Excellent stuff, I learned a bunch.

Interesting that he is reskinning a steel car in aluminum. Later in the series he shows the mostly completed shell and mentions the owner is doing an engine upgrade as well, so maybe this is another part of the upgrade. It is a wooden framed body, and pretty sad to start with.

This is an advert for the college, as far as I can see. So not done just to help people out. No such thing as a free lunch.

I don't get the last part of your comment please clarify.

I was only saying Thank you to all the experts that give their time and enthusiasm to help all of us "uneducated in metalwork" the basic skills and direction.
You and the other experts know who you are.
I bought your video and was very pleased with it, watched it several times, learning something new every time!
It is refreshing that those who have the expertise are happy to pass on their skills. I have always tried to do the same for my Off road bike skills for those that wanted to know, not metalwork, I know, but a lifetimes experience anyway.
The video clip that you mention is just what you suggest, an advert for the college.
However if you check out his other clips they seemed very good to me, up my beginners street.
No criticism was intended in any form whatsoever, just a big Thank you.
