New member Heath from Melbourne, Australia
Hey there guys, I've been working on a modified old car called a Holden Torana for the last few years, and recently started to do some work with Peter Tommasini on adapting/creating a sunroof in the roof of the car.
He talks about the forum regularly, so I wanted to see what it was all about. My skills are reasonably limited self-taught stuff. I normally spend about 20hrs a week working on my car project, but a lot of the work has been machining, fitting, and general metal fabrication (AC/DC TIG and some dirty MIG work). I've got some cheap hammers and dollies that I've used to make rust repair panels and a transmission tunnel, but no serious tools like English wheels or planishing hammers! Haha. I would consider myself very green in that area.
